Annual Halloween Horror Ho-Down Group Exhibition

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
...
-Interested parties should request the submission form by emailing
revengeof242@gmail.com

-Once received, fill out form and submit via email with jpgs by 11:59pm, Wednesday, October 5.

-Artists will be notified if their work is accepted by Saturday, October 8.

-Each artist may submit up to 5 works in any medium: please include Artist Name and Title of Work on each JPG.

-Artists from any location may submit, but artwork needs to be delivered to/retrieved from Fourth Wall Project in Boston.
(if shipping, costs to and from are incurred by artist)

-Accepted work must be delivered labeled, wired, framed, ready to hang, between 10am and 12noon on Wednesday, October 26.

-Artists whose work is accepted will receive, via email, an artist exhibition agreement with notification of acceptance.
Artist to print, fill out, sign and deliver artist agreement with work on October 26.

-Submitted artwork for exhibition would be considered also for sale at gallery unless artist notes otherwise.

-All inquiries should be made to revengeof242@gmail.com.

Projects 1 & 2 update

Hi everyone, because of the delay with the wire shipment, I'm putting off assigning Project 2 until next week. Please bring all your mask-making materials to class Friday September 30th. After the crit of the finished Project 1 2-d illustrations, we'll work in class on the masks so that they'll be ready for submitting to the Fourth Wall Project Halloween Show.

Project 3 Masks

Project 3 required students to research myths, legends, & folktales from their own specific ancestries, sketch out & construct character masks from the myth they chose, photograph models wearing the masks, & then create mixed media illustrations incorporating the photographs. These are the finished masks only, not the final illustrations:
